Studies have continually shown the importance of Strength Training, specifically showing an inverse relationship between strength training and all causes of death -- meaning, simply, strong people are harder to kill. Strength Training on a fixed plane machine is a safe and effective way to guarantee results, especially in an environment where the user is alone. Compared with a Functional Trainer, it's easier to find yourself pushing heavier weights on a fixed plane, and requires a more straightforward approach to each exercise. Universal Gym Systems, often referred to as a "home gym", are usually designed for 1 to 2 users at a time and can tackle a wide variety of exercises in a small footprint, hence why some people call them a Home Gym – it is their entire home gym setup, in one machine!
