Holiday 2020 Inventory Updates
Hello everyone! We hope you're doing well. We wanted to provide a quick update on the state of the industry's product availability given the recent surge in demand and heading into the holidays.
Availability is still an issue that has not resolved since the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Many of our manufacturers are still dealing with intense demand that is impacting fulfillment timelines. Going forward, especially around the holidays, you'll want to place orders sooner rather than later.
Below is an outline of how we are handling new orders heading into the holiday season:
- We are filling orders F-I-F-O, or first-in-first-out. So when you place an order, you are reserving your spot in line for that item. We will fulfill orders as fast as we are able and in the order in which they were placed.
- We are not taking orders for items that we do not have any reasonable estimated time of delivery. We want to be able to set realistic expectations for our customers.
- For items that are on a longer backorder timeframe (usually a month or more) we are collecting a minimum 20% deposit for the order total to reserve your place in line. You do NOT need to pay for an entire item up front to get a spot in line, but you will need to contact us directly to finalize the order. We cannot accept deposit orders online at this time.
- For items currently in stock, we are accepting orders for immediate store pickup or delivery. Currently delivery times are varying quite a bit, so it is best to speak with a Bandit representative to get the most up-to-date information.
