Continuing Maintenance Plan Service
We at Bandit Fitness don’t want this to be another corporate Coronavirus update, but we do have important information for facilities with an active Maintenance Plan with us. We’ll try to keep this brief:
- Firstly, the most important part: if you’re unable to maintain a reliable cleaning schedule to keep up with the demand of your facility, we advise that you close it to protect your members and your staff. For our Maintenance Plan customers who decide to close their gym facilities, we are happy to put your maintenance schedule on hold until you decide to re-open.
- Second, on how to clean: We encourage you to keep your facility clean, and IHRSA has a great article here that we encourage you and your maintenance staff to read about cleanliness and sanitization of gym facilities. We also strongly recommend following CDC guidelines for how to keep your facility clean.
- Third, on continuing service: At this time, for gyms that remain open, our staff will still perform regularly scheduled maintenance unless you inform us you’re closing your gym. We will continue to ensure your equipment is operational for your members, and continue to do the work outlined in your Maintenance Plan Agreement. Our staff is taking extra sanitization measures at this time for both our benefit and yours.
We’ll work with you and our customers to help maintain facilities as long as we’re able, and as long as there are no government regulations restricting us otherwise. If a municipality requires gyms to close in your area (as is happening in major cities as of today), we will suspend our service, but pick it back up when the threat of this virus is mitigated. We want you to know we are taking the coronavirus seriously and are working to ensure the safety of our staff as well as your management and your members.
